Research conducted by ICM on behalf of the Energy Saving Trust, asked people to imagine they had saved £400 by implementing energy efficiency measure in their home what they would put most of the money towards. 57% if people in Scotland said they would save the money, followed by 11% who said they would put the money towards more energy saving measures and 8% would buy consumer goods like a large screen TV.
